Hello!

I’m Julie Elder.

 I was born in Montreal and have been fortunate to live in other cities such as Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa and now in Welland since 2015.

 I’ve always had a passion for photography since a young girl.  My father always had his cameras with him and learned the basics through him.  In my early days,  I enjoyed candid photos of friends, family and my travels.   Through the years, I’ve been known as a photography enthusiast and went full speed ahead when I got my first digital camera in 2009.  Since then, my passion has grown to include pets, wildlife, nature, landscapes, street photography, fashion, small weddings, events and family portraits.  I’ve gained so much knowledge through workshops with professionals, personal instruction and the ‘Ottawa Photography MeetUp Group’.  I’m grateful to have worked with some of Ottawa’s finest photographers and models.

Photography is a perfect fit for me as I’ve transitioned my career from a Visual Presentation Stylist to a Photographer. 

Jan 2014, I had the pleasure and opportunity to show some of my Nature Photography on Canvas at the Ottawa Macdonald Cartier International Airport.  And more recently at the Welland Recreation and Culture Center.

I’ve been slowly building the business with focus on People, Places and Pets.  Emphasis being on family and pet portraits as well as real estate photography, while enjoying all photography as a hobby.
